Risers International, Inc, affectionately known as “RISERS,” embarked on its illustrious path in 1995 as Risers International Inc. Under new ownership post-2017, the company rebranded as Riser International LLC. Drawing from a rich tapestry of industry expertise and battle-tested products, RISERS is primed to tackle the evolving technical challenges in subsea drilling and production systems.

Our esteemed clientele acknowledges that their alliance with RISERS ushers in a collective knowledge reservoir spanning over 150 years of technology and field proficiency to address their project needs. We are resolutely committed to upholding this proud legacy in all future endeavors. In the realm of deepwater drilling systems, RISERS has crafted various riser projects for esteemed Drilling Contractors:

Frontier-Discoverer" (Drill-Ship) - 3,000 ft of RCK Riser system
"Frontier-Phoenix" (Drill-ship) - 5,700 ft of RF Riser system
"Frontier-Driller" (Semi-submersible) - 5,500 ft of HMF style riser system
"Frontier-Sheillean" (Drillship) - 5,500 ft of RF Riser system
Currently underway - (2) Major 12,000 ft water depth, 4,000,000 lbs. rated load, 20K Psi WP -C & K system for X-Drill-I and X-Drill-II

These upcoming projects guarantee a busy schedule for the next four years, at the very least.

His journey through various countries like England, France, the United States, and more has shaped his profound understanding of the industry landscape. Major’s distinguished career trajectory spans roles at renowned organizations such as Exxon, Cameron Iron Works, and ODECO, among others.

Educational Pursuits

From obtaining Mechanical Engineering and Petroleum Engineering degrees at the prestigious AIT to mastering naval architecture and pursuing advanced studies in management and business administration in the United States, Major has consistently pursued excellence in education. His invaluable contributions to rig design, engineering, construction, and commissioning for drilling contractors have left an indelible mark on the industry.
